Fitness Center New Student Guide

New students (freshman or transfer): Before you visit the Fitness Center, you need to complete your “.” If we do not have this on file, you will need to complete this before you can start your first workout.

You must be enrolled in at least one credit hour to qualify for a student membership.

You must have your AUID in order to access the facility. Our front desk staff will swipe your AUID to check you into the fitness center.

Please wipe your equipment down with the provided disinfectant after each use. RecFit staff also regularly clean equipment, but we ask all participants to do their part in keeping the equipment clean.

We have many options for lockers at the fitness centers.

Day use lockers with built-in combination locks are availble and free to use at both fitness centers.

Day use lockers are availble in the locker rooms at Jacobs and Cassell. You must bring (or purchase) your own combination lock for day use lockers in the locker room.

Belongings left overnight in the day-use lockers will be removed and discarded.

You may purchase a semester or annual locker rental if you would like to keep things in the locker room over night. The cost of a locker rental is $75 / semester OR $140 / year. Overnight locker rentals are only available at Jacobs Fitness Center.
