On Thursday, April 21, the Washington College of Law Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee concluded its three-series panel on rising levels of hate in the United States and around the world. The final panel featured Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League and was moderated by Dean Roger A. Fairfax, Jr. Greenblatt is the author of the new book , which details rising levels of hate and systemic violence in the United States and projects that more could be on the way without intervention.

Professor Jones said of the award, "I am incredibly proud to be the 2022 recipient of the Raeder-Taslitz award  from the Â鶹´«Ã½ Bar Association Criminal Justice Section.  This award celebrates my professional passions: educating students in the study of criminal law and procedure; using legal scholarship to impact change in the criminal legal system; and working with organizations like The Sentencing Project to achieve systemic criminal and racial justice reform.
