Center for Teaching, Research and Learning - Teaching and learning resources include adjunct orientation, workshops, laboratories, new faculty guide, software support, and a syllabus template.
Office of the Dean of Students - Resources include consultations about problems with individual students, campus life issues, and programs and services on campus that support student success. This office also manages AU's Care Network (Helping Students in Distress). Faculty and staff frequently observe signs of students in distress. Uncharacteristically disruptive behavior in the classroom or disturbing written communications can be a first sign of trouble. You can play an important role by identifying students in distress and helping them to receive the assistance they need.
Center for Well-Being Programs and Psychological Services - Offers counseling, self-help resources, referrals to private care, workshops, and discussion groups to help students gain the skills and insights they need to overcome adversity and thrive in their life and learning.
Academic Support & Access Center - Supports the academic development and educational goals of all Â鶹´«Ã½ students, and is committed to providing access for individuals with disabilities within the university's diverse community. Service include individual instruction in time management, reading and note taking strategies, and exam preparation, Writing Lab, study skills, referrals for peer tutors, and group tutoring in traditionally difficult classes.
Campus Safety and Security - AU has a number of different ways to communicate with faculty, students, and staff in the event of an emergency. Â鶹´«Ã½ Library - Resources include classes and tutorials, curriculum integrated library instruction, archives and special collections, visual media, Music Library, Services for Faculty (including instructional support - - reserve readings, library instruction, visual media for classes, reserving a classroom in Anderson Computer Complex, etc.).
Office of the Registrar - Resources include the current University Catalog with academic rules and regulations, the Schedule of Classes with course descriptions, and curriculum proposal information and forms.
