Bio
As an Associate Director of Public Relations, Natasha Abel supports the School of Public Affairs, the School of International Service, and a wide range of university-wide initiatives. Prior to joining AU in 2016, Natasha held communications positions with the global non-profit organization FHI 360, Johns Hopkins Medicine International, and Cancer Care Ontario, and worked as a journalist with television, radio and print media outlets in Russia, Canada, and the United States. Natasha also served as a journalism and communications scholar at Moscow State University’s School of Journalism, and she was the Russia "country director" for a multi-national project under the umbrella of S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University that studied the concept of "what is news?" around the world.
