Bio
Before coming to AU, Carol worked in several academic libraries in a number of roles. She served as a student assistant and library technician at Ohio State University, as a library technician at the Library of Congress, and as a reference and instruction librarian at the University of the District of Columbia. Her areas of academic interest include women in the Arab world, diverse populations’ information access and behaviors, and ethics. Carol is active in the local chapters of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Phi Mu academic honor societies. She has served as a public member on several hearing committees of the Board on Professional Responsibility, part of DC’s attorney discipline system.
