Change Can’t Wait: The Campaign for Â鶹´«Ã½ is nearing its finish line—the ambitious $500 million goal is within sight. Earlier this year, students created the Finish Line Committee to help their peers understand the campaign’s real-time impact and motivate participation. AU students are stepping up—increasing participation by 54 percent in the fall semester alone.

Inspired by the student Finish Line Committee, an anonymous alumnus has committed a $1 million challenge gift to expand the Finish Line Initiative, a call for the entire AU community to join them and help Change Can’t Wait reach its $500 million goal this summer.

The $1 million challenge gift will provide matches to gifts from alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff—this is the final opportunity to be part of Change Can’t Wait and a chance to multiply the impact of an individual gift. AU’s dedicated volunteer groups are also challenged to reach 100 percent participation to unlock additional support.

We can’t cross the finish line alone—this is our chance to supercharge the Change Can’t Wait campaign and reach the $500 million goal. Join us because AU changemakers don’t wait for change—we make it.

How You Can Join The Finish Line Initiative

In honor of AU reaching 150,000 alumni Eagles across the globe, alumni gifts to the Finish Line Initiative will be matched by a generous anonymous alumnus, up to $150,000. Help AU reach new heights and invest in the area you love most.

Did you graduate after 2014?
Recent graduates, you can make your gift go further for your alma mater with an exclusive 2:1 match opportunity to double your impact.

Current students can quadruple their impact with gifts matched 4:1 by a generous donor, up to a total of $50,000. This means your gift of $25 becomes $125 to support the AU community. Make your gift to any area today.

Are you graduating this May 2024?
Students who give $20.24 (quadrupled to $80.96 for a total of $101.05) will receive an honorary medal to wear during their commencement ceremony.

Faculty and staff can make their impact on The Market – AU’s Food Pantry. Gifts to the Market will be matched 1:1 by a generous anonymous donor, up to $25,000. A gift of any size is an investment in the crucial resources provided to students.

Parents and families, you can maximize your impact for your Eagle and AU. Gifts made to the Parent and Family fund will be matched 1:1, up to $100,000 thanks to a generous anonymous donor. This unrestricted gift helps AU address its most pressing needs and ensures a thriving future for your Eagle and all students.

Your gift to any alumni affinity group related fund at Â鶹´«Ã½ will be matched 2:1 up to $20,000 per group. With your gift today, you’ll join fellow Eagles who share your passions, identities, or experiences – all while giving back to causes that support the communities you care about most.
