Exhibition Overview

Discover how artist Leigh Wen weaves personal and cultural histories into her practice. At One with the Elements explores her intimate bond with nature through a vibrant array of oil paintings, mixed media collages, porcelain sculptures, and thematic dresses. Her works immediately draw you in with their intricate designs and dazzling beauty.

From the immersive majesty of her mountain, fire, air, and seascapes to her superscale flower portraits, she draws on her dual identity as a Taiwanese Â鶹´«Ã½ while conjuring the sublime and encouraging reflection on a harmonious world view.

Mining her subjects¡¯ inherent qualities and metaphoric potential, she brings alive the all-encompassing forces of yin and yang with her emotionally charged palette and energized linear mark-making in search for dynamic balance within perpetual change.
