Exhibition Overview

The exhibition presents unknown Siberia as photographed by Russians. These photographs, many shown in the West for the first time, span more than 150 years, between the 1860s and 2011. This is a history of Siberia and a history of photography all in one. A book published by Prestel will coincide with the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition is organized by the Foundation for International Arts & Education, and curated by Leah Bendavid-Val. National Geographic, Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Initiative for Russian Culture, and the Russian Union of PhotoArtists and PhotoSoyz Agency, support the exhibition.
